Albin Zahlin

My role at The Information Company

Since joining The Information Company in January 2017, I’ve had the chance to work on a wide range of projects — each one different, and each one rewarding. I’m especially passionate about assignments where I get to be part of the full journey: from shaping a recommendation to seeing an organization reach objectives they once thought were out of reach.

In client engagements, I typically take on the role of project manager and/or senior consultant. I also serve as TIC’s CFO.

Education & Previous Experience

I’m currently TIC’s only engineer. I studied Industrial Engineering and Management at Linköping University, earning a Master’s in Strategy and Management Control. During my studies, I also spent a year abroad at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

Alongside my Master’s, I pursued a technical specialization in systems engineering, where I deepened my understanding of systems and information flows — particularly in areas like telecommunications, signal processing, and image analysis.

From 2015 to 2018, I was also a board member of Engineers Without Borders.

A bit about me

I grew up in Jönköping, in Småland, and now live in Vasastan, Stockholm. Whenever I get the chance, I head for the mountains — hiking or mountain biking in summer, ski touring in winter, and always chasing those perfect views (or powder runs).

Fun fact

In recent years, I’ve logged over 120,000 minutes on Spotify annually.

When I’m not listening to music, I’m probably diving into a podcast — on finance, entrepreneurship, politics, or just something new to learn.
