Joel Wikström

My role at The Information Company

I work as a Decision Support Developer and Chief Architect at The Information Company. With over 15 years of experience in business intelligence (BI), I’ve been involved in more than 50 projects across approximately 30 clients.
In addition to hands-on project work, I’ve served as a team leader and was previously responsible for development methodologies at one of Sweden’s largest BI firms.

Education & Previous Experience

I have extensive experience in both business development and technical implementation, with deep expertise in databases, data warehousing, and reporting tools.

Over the years, I’ve worked on everything from requirements gathering and project management to the development of decision support systems — across industries such as manufacturing, banking and finance, retail, and the public sector.

A bit about me

I hold a degree in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and have also studied Computer Science at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
